Van D. Merkle, D.C., C.C.N., D.A.C.B.N., D.A.C.B.I.

Dr. Merkle serves Dayton, OH with chiropractic and nutrition.

Dr. Van D. Merkle is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist and a Doctor of Chiropractic. He has practiced in the Dayton, Ohio area for 25 years. A Diplomate on the American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition and a Diplomate on the Chiropractic Board of Internists, he is also a member of The International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists. Dr. Merkle has been host of the live, call-in talk show "Back To Health, Your Guide to Better Living" for over 10 years and frequently speaks to local groups and professionals around the country.

Andrew R. Dyer D.C., D.A.B.C.A.

Dr. Dyer serves Dayton, OH with Acupuncture, Chiropractic and Nutrition

Dr. Dyer completed his four year Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 2001. Then it was on to National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois for his doctor of chiropractic training. During the four year program at National another Bachelor of Science degree in human biology was also earned. He completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in April of 2005. Dr. Dyer has completed over 120 hours of post-graduate coursework in Chiropractic Family Practice, an advanced nutritional training diplomate program.

Dr. Dyer has been a licensed Chiropractic Acupuncturist in Ohio since November 2009 and recently completed the 300+ hour training course and examination to earn the distinction; Diplomate from the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncturists and will begin serving on the testing board for the DABCA in June 2010.

Dr. Dyer is a proud member of the American Chiropractic Association and the College for Chiropractic Acupuncture.

Dr. Dyer is currently the head coach of the Alter Lady Knights JV soccer team, CUSA U11 Girls Blue Team and the West Carrollton Freshman Lady Pirates Basketball Team.

“It is such an honor and a privilege to work with these youth athletes, they have taught me a lot and hopefully I have taught them some things too.”

When he’s not in the clinic Dr. Dyer can be found watching area sporting events especially during the high school and college seasons. Summer recreation hours are most often spent on the golf course, soccer field or running.

In the years to come, Dr. Dyer hopes to establish effective nutritional and alternative medical treatments for people afflicted with Autism and other Spectrum Disorders.

Natalie Yahle, D.C.

Dr. Yahle completed her Bachelors degree at the University of Dayton in 2007. She then attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri to receive her doctorate of Chiropractic while also earning another Bachelors degree in Life Sciences. Dr. Yahle has undergone extensive training and seminar attendance to treat various conditions such as tempromandibular joint disorders, rehabilitation of the spine and extremites, gait analysis, chiropractic nutrition, and dynamic neuromuscular stabilization from the Prague School of rehabilitation and manual medicine.

Dr. Yahle volunteered her services during her internship at Logan College as a Clinician’s assistant for an adult rehabilitation center program. She has also spent time in Dominican Republic with ChiroMission to provide chiropractic in a third world country where the resources are so limited.

Dr. Yahle has competed in many athletics including volleyball, cross country, basketball, and track. She continued her track career at a collegiate level competing in the heptathlon and mid-distance events.

Tracey Merkle, M.S.

Tracey Merkle, Nutrition

Tracey Merkle, MS has a BS in Health & Physical Education from the University of Montevallo where she received full scholarship to play Varsity Basketball. She has her Master of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. Mrs. Merkle has worked with the Back To Health Center for over 10 years and is a sought after speaker both locally and nationally on nutritional healthcare topics.

Mrs. Merkle was a guest panelist for "Educating and Equipping Coaches on the Issue of Eating Disorders" at the 2006 NCAA Women's Basketball Finals Tournament in Boston, MA for the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

Tracey is the JV Head Coach for West Carrollton Varsity girls basketball team.
